Hello,

I am in the market for a new intercooler/radiator setup and it looks like ROOSE and Alicool make an almost identical Vmount kit.

I just want to find out if there is any benefit spending the extra £150~ on the ROOSE or not.

I am also open to the idea of other kits and I have a koyo n flow rad already if there's a FMIC that's not crap.

Alicool £900

ROOSE £1055

Dont know about the Alicool but Roose just distribute Radtec's kit.

The Radtec Kit is a good kit, but go with the single turbo kit rather than twins kit if you are planning on going single further down the road. If not the twins kit will be fine.

If you contact Radtec directly, they will may match the Ali cool price.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll give them a bell as I'd rather get the one that has good feedback than none if the price can be matched.

Although single turbo is on my wish list, its not for the foreseeable future.

I would try and get one straight from radtec as their fitment should be better compared to the other two counterparts that copied their design. Expect to re-work some components like the radiator mount strut bar where the pre-drilled holes may not align properly to the subframe with the aforementioned two companies.

Don't discount using the twins version core for a single turbo setup, as it does leave clearance to implement a cold air intake setup with a big enough filter to flow air from the bumper rather than near the intercooler core that is radiating heat.
