Bad news

Condenser full of holes and they cant get the parts in.
Going to ask mazda for prices on condenser and filter/dryer units. Will have a hunt around for aftermarket options too

I've also been on the lookout for a replacement condenser (aircon rad). Seems the only cost effective option is going to be a generic rad and get some adapters made up for the outlets.

Ah nightmare.
I've seen a quite cool sounding option: R-magic ac condenser. Looks like its a smaller but similarly efficient unit, but I bet it will be pretty pricey by the time it lands in the UK

Keep your eyes open for a used one there's always people getting rid of ac

Only trouble is, mine looked ok. But it had a couple of pin holes between the fins, so I wouldn't trust second hand
