I've just got my car back from paint and it's looking great but the wing uprights didn't seal to the hatch properly before getting painted so after it's been off I'm not expecting it to get any better.

The best way I've thought to do it is scrape off what's left of the foam strip and then use something like tiger seal around the edge of the uprights and then rubber washers on the inside of the hatch.

The two large flat rubber bits on the outer two bolts are completely shot / rock hard on mine so they need replacing with something too. Not sure what's best given it can't be thick or else the wing will stand pround of the hatch.

How have people sealed their wings to the hatch or are there any known good ways to do it?

Yeah you're spot on with that! Rubber washers and I use stixall, it seals under water and has a 100kg bond strength 😎 I'm guessing tiger seal is more or less the same thing!

Sticky back neoprene tape around the edge stuck to the spoiler with two small gaps above the rear lights to let it drain if it ever leaks. I wouldn't bond it to the hatch. Make small circles of neoprene around the inner mount holes to seal them. Mines not leaked with the above since I sprayed it in 2017 and it lives outside.

Coolio. Glad I wasn't too far of the mark.

I figured I had two options; either seal the uprights and not let any water get under it or seal the holes, cushion it to the hatch surface and make sure water can get out if it's under there.

The way the stuff that's on it at the moment is setup makes much more sense based on what you said @Ceylon

On a similar note, and to save starting a new thread, does anyone know where I can get more of the interior fixings like the one in the attached image?
