To be honest the rx cost less then both the r34 and supra so far and been more reliable and least amount of issues.

The r34 is running 700bhp, the supra is a n/a manual .

Just The rx7 cost alot more in fuel .

Cleaned the 7 because she was so dusty.

changed front and rear brake pads and full brake fluid flush.i feel it stops lots better now as the old pads had been in there a while.

Also changed the oil and filter this morning at 35300miles ,just under 2000 miles on rebuilt engine .

New fuel pump fitted, quantum 340.ignore the dirty hanger i did tidy it up a bit before refitting.

This is the only pic i took but u get the idea .

Now im ready for a remap, i rang stu monday and ive got it booked in to be mapped at the end of the week .

Hopefully it makes it there as its 180 odd mile away from where i live.

Today drove the car to rotortorque and met jay and stu and also met a few guys off the forum(nice to meet everyone)

They soon found a fair few issues on the car and didnt hesitate to sort them out for me which i was very pleased about.

First issue was the car was pretty dangerous and the alignment needed to be done so the guys arranged that for me and now it drives and handles alot better.

Next issue was a split pipe on the turbos which stopped the second turbo coming on properly.

And final issue was the dump valve wasnt working correctly so was replaced with a working item.

Had the car mapped to 1 bar, jay said the injector duty is 76% which is real good so we are assuming the injectors have been bored out as ive only fitted a fuelpump personally.


The drive home was real good.
the car wasnt fighting me when i accelerated anymore due to the fact the alignment was done now (i didnt realise the car handled so bad until stu said , i just thought that was how they drove being an older car)

The power delivery is much better and smoother, also feel so much faster and now the cars mapped i can really start to enjoy driving it again without worrying about being on apexi base map.

Very happy with rotortorque jay and stu are absolute legends would highly recomend.

It Was a good day, met some real nice people and had a laugh while my car was being fixed and mapped, life was good today , 410 miles driven with no issues at all.

Driving the car today made me realise i dont need to worry about driving it long distances , just get in it ,drive it , enjoy it.

Ordered a concept7 headlight cover came today so ive fitted it up, fitment isnt overly great tbf the sides dont fit nearly as good as the oem atm but il give it a bit of a tweak when its not raining and hopefully itl be ok.

Nothing to report on this really, just been driving and enjoying it.

Couple of things todo this year which is have the passenger side ,and a few little bits painted, then finish off the engine bay,

Need a new cooling panel made up and also fab a bracket for the ast tank , also do a little tidy up of wires ect.

Thought id post some pics as ive not updated this in a while

Had a few knocks and bangs from the rear so Ordered and fitted full super pro poly bush kit, and also genuine mazda pillowballs and dust covers.

All went well with fitting, also replaced the ppf as it was cracked,

Then found out the car was undrivable due to the diff being damaged inside.

got a replacement diff and put new seals in it andfitted it up with some new oil and all seems well now

Was alot easier then i thought it was going to be to swap the diff out .

Replaced the brake pedal stopper with a nissan item

Also replaced an exhaust to downpipe gasket as someone had filled it with mastic ..

replaced the worn suspension with a set of hsds with softer spring rates so i can daily drive it without it being so harsh.

From the 5 miles ive driven it so far it feela so much better, bit more road noise because of the poly bushes but that was to be expected.

I got a replacement diff from jit, the old diff was dangerous and really loud clunking ,

Wasnt too bad working on the road, worse part was the weather being so hot

Went for a little drive down to cheddar reservoir today , was the longest drive ive done since rebushing the car and it drove so nice with all new suspension.

Just needs 2 rear tyres and 4 wheel alignment now, which il get done soon

just ticked over to 38000 miles .

Two people tried breaking into it over new year until a passer by seen them and confronted them, he then punched one of the guys in the mouth and they left ,

not any kind of damage on the car which is good just been enjoying it driving my son to school in it everyday.

Now thats the kinda people you want passing by! Shame he didn't get you up and go beat fuck into the 2 of them! Scumbags everywhere! Just read on fb that someone in Suffolk has just had his mazda speed seats nicked from his mx5!

Yeah it was a shame he didnt knock the door, but he left me a note on the car to ring him , just glad it has no damage to it and hopefully the blow to the mouth will stop these two guys coming back
