I know the cockpit of the FD is not exactly spacious and i'm currently trying to decide where to place gauges. I thought it would be cool to see where everyone has decided to place gauges in their own cars, plus we get to see some cool interiors!

I've got x4 Defi's I want to mount:
Water temp
Oil temp
Oil pressure
Boost

Plus an AEM Wideband.

My current thought is ditch the stereo (as it's almost impossible to listen to anyway) and mount the 4 Defi's there, then put the the AEM in a pod on the A Pillar.

Thoughts? Pics?

Jaysus thats a lot of stuff! See this is my point! I've gone with a Link Ecu so I dont have to find space for the controller now, but I still have the defi controller to mount somewhere as well as the gauges!!!

I have boost, oil pres and fuel pres above the glove box then oil, water and air fuel in the centre speaker. Will grab pic end of the week

The aim dashes that are now compatable with the link ecus are lovely. That's my future plan and will be able to get rid of everything then and have it all on the dash

So many gauges 😲,

I have a steering column boost gauge and an oil temp hidden in the glove box. Water and air temp are on the commander.

Did you holesaw gauge holes into the passenger bit of the dash then?

I don't know if I should run all 4 defi's but 1). I have them already 2). They look fucking shweet 3). They're all kind of important

Previous owner did it but yes, and the gauges are angled towards the driver so it’s just a look over although I just have alarms set up, passengers enjoy the boost gauge though

This is what I'm going for:

funnily enough just bench tested my speed hut gauge's today. all work OK couldn't figure out the wiring on the RPM but can do that on the car I think.

Just got a shitty laptop to connect to the adaptronic so if I need anything else I can use that, but less is more in gauge department I think

My buddy created this thing for me. CAD designed and then 3D printed. Quality of the pic is very bad, I need to make a better pic.

It uses the oem center speaker hole and clips.
