Hi everyone I am looking at options for pulleys and belt for my Fd Rx7 13b. I have got rid of air pump and air con so been reading a lot on here and can’t really decide what to do. Can anyone share what they have used and done after doing the air pump removal I still want to run power steering by the way. Pictures would help thank you .

Belt from alternator to rear bottom pulley. (Also turns water pump) Belt from power steering to front bottom pulley .

I also don’t have air pump and aircon and I have a GReddy pulley kit (from memory, larger alternator and water pump pulleys)

For the alternator, water pump and rear of bottom pulley, I use a 5PK780 belt.

For front of bottom pulley to power steering, I use a 6PK915 belt.

I run a DM Motorsports kit, pretty much same as the greddy one Neil has ^. The water pump and alternator pulleys are bigger as you lose belt contact surface area on the water pump with the new belt route and standard pulleys . I think they're sold as 'underdrive pulley kit'

I use a pineapple racing idler. IMO unless youve got textured pulley for belt grip or bigger pulleys you really need to run one or you will get slip on the water pump.

I'm moving to DM idler pulley, as the underdrive kits slip too much for my liking. Over tensioning the belt will give premature bearing failure IMO.

I've got some brackets knocking about for a pulley if you want one

I've just got to try and find them in the garage

Those little brackets look great.

I had a bearing pressed into an old OEM alternator pulley but never managed to find a bracket to use it with.

pretty sure i have the pulley and bracket kit in my shed from when i deleted my air pump...
