Has anyone boxed in the fender holes in the engine bay and done away with the fender liners ?

I'm planning on doing the same, do you know if anyone sells a kit which can be welded in or do i have to make them custom.

Check this out, I'm not really into the cover type of things but a more structural. They are cool tho too cover up the holes.

There are more pics just click right.

I have a set of carbon ones just like the above, haven't test fitted them yet, but seem fairly decent.

Got them from a guy (possibly the same person) on rx7club

Aren't the arch liners meant to help with brake cooling or something?

I know the have a channel in/over them that seems to pull air in from the front bumper to the vents in the wings - took long enough getting them back on the other day:ROFLMAO:

Surely Mazda did that for a reason?

All of the front plastics work to push air to the brakes, then the wing vents draw it all out

Sweet, I though it looked too much to not be functional.
Glad I Put the pre 99 splitter on vs the 99 that was on the car, the front ducts actually line up really well now:LOL:

Here they are placed in to position.
Was on my own so couldn't get any photos of them properly on, but you get the idea.
