I have been planning out what exterior bits to get once I have my engine bits sorted, and came across an instagram announcement for an upcoming bodykit from livetooffend.com. The coolest thing part of the kit for me will be rear window louvers. I dont think anyone has done rear window louvers before for the FD? Personally, I really like the look of louvers and was dissapointed that we dont have any for the FD yet.

We only really have a sneak peak photo at the moment and I have no idea when the kit will be available.

Also, those rear lights! Very cyperpunk.

I also made an exposed version as I was curious what else was part of the kit and what that louver really looks like.

Looks like maybe a rear bumper too.

What do you think? Yay or nay?

Only reason to have rear louvre's is if you need to extract air from say a rear engine.

In the case of an FD with rear window the louvre just create additional turbulence which can potentially increase drag and lift possibly making the rear end a little loose, especially if you leave the rear wing as is.

The rear wing just doesn't see the same airflow. Same happens with the rear top of window spoilers if not designed very carefully.

Maybe on some cars but mostly they are to reduce glare and keep the interior of the car cooler by not letting sunlight in. However the only reason I want them is for those retro vibes :)

I'd never put them on anything made past the year 2000 though, I'd agree thats bad taste..

These look way better and do the same job.

Not a fan personally, looks like someone has fitted 6 rear wings to cover the tailgate.
