Rocket Bunny Body Kit

I am doing the whole v8 conversion and wanted wider rubber on the rear, seemed the only way to go.

There are lots of other options if you just want to fit more rubber such as the Pettit fenders, chargespeed, origin but the reality is you can still get quite a bit in the stock arches or with just a 25mm fender like the feed or Re-a kits.

How much rubber are you wanting to fit?

Burnout is objectively the best widebody kit, but as said above you can get a decent amount of tyre under stock arches with a roll and slight pull.

I’ve got 285’s on my Enkei RS05RR’s that are 11inches wide and I’ve got rolled and flared arches at the rear and they fit with no rub.

I am looking for the traction so saw 10.5” on the rear and thought that would do it.

Rocket bunny was done to death a few years ago, but a well fitted kit still looks great on the fd. A lot of us have got a bit precious about our cars. Where 5 years ago hacking the arches off was something you wouldn't think twice about.
Kit quality and fitment vary hugely, and loke the guys say there are other widebody options. Plus as @Nas80 says, to look right yiu need air suspension

I'd take these quoted figures for what tyres fit with a pinch of salt.

This guy for instance:

There are plenty of other options rather than a rocket bunny.
Or if you want it for the aesthetics or scene points then take Sacrilegious' advice and get some appropriate medication.

You could go and get a pair of pilot super sports or some similar sticky road tyres. You won't need to run balloons or cut the crap out of your body work .

What you realistically talking 400ft lbs? You would be ok with a 265

Thanks for all the comments i think i will steer clear of the rocket bunny kit as i don't like the idea of cutting the arches. By the way if anyone wants a bunny kit let me know lol 🤣😂🤣😂

Sounds like the disaster has already been averted, but to reiterate: LS3 with warm 255/45/17 Federal RSR's on a dry road surface has all the grip it needs in every gear (in a straight line of course!).

I know what you're saying about the potential credibility of what advice I have given and can assure you that this size of wheel and tyre do not fit on the front of the car but they do fit on the rear, hence why I've only stated the rear wheels.

Also forgot to mention that they are et16.

So, to summarise:

- Enkei RS05RR's 18 x 11 et16 with 285/30/18 Pirelli P Zerio Rosso N4 tyres do fit on the rear if you flare and roll the arches (no spacer).
- Same wheels but 285/30/18 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tyres do not fit on the front of the car at all if you want to be able to turn without rubbing on the inside of your arches/arch liner.

This is the setup I tried/have at the moment but will be taking them off.
