Wiper Arms - Front and Rear

Morning!!

My Wiper arms are looking tired. I want to remove them and powdercoat them, but they do not look like they come apart that easily?
Anyone removed and taken them apart?

I've sanded and rattle canned mine satin black, looks ok. Not sure about fully disassembling as the rivet pins look quite long and would have to be drilled out. Plus there is not o lot of clearance for powdercoating the parts and reassembly would be a pain and i think they would just lock up.

Did my front two last week! I've only gone and lost the caps and nuts though

They've come out quite well considering how bad they were!

Yeah gave them a few coats of gray primer, few coats of gloss black and then two coats of clear. Quite happy with the results and beats paying JDM tax on new arms

Nothing special, halfords own I believe

do you, or anyone, think it's possible to rattle can spray wheels to a decent standard that would last?

Not really... Powder coat is the way for wheels

What brand of rattle cans did you use?

I use autotek, from eBay and the like. Pretty cheap and not bad quality. Prob not top brand quality but it's not dogshit so that suits me fine
