Custom headlights - LED bar

Hi all,

Just testing the waters here to see if anyone knows the complications with doing this.

Has anyone ever made their own custom LED bar headlights before?

I'm planning on updating my popups on my other FD since I'll be stripping the entire thing down and replacing the current motor with a linear actuator. I thought that, since I'm there, I might give making a custom LED bar for the headlights a go. But if it's pretty much a no go, I'll just leave the lights as is and focus on the actuator.

I know a few things that could be difficult is going to be:

• High and low beam
• Projection pattern

Any advice is much appreciated.

Just put some decent led bulbs in there, made 1000% improvement on mine

I've got some good ones on my black FD but the other one is a bit battered so I thought I'd do it to see if it can be done as I haven't really seen anyone do it.

Low height like on Mad Mike's FD.

As long as they can get their hands on a stock light they will do whatever you need.

J.W. Speaker do some 90mm LED light units that are apparently legal, I've thought about it for my FEED lights but need to get the car fully running first.

Which bulbs? Mine is bog standard in the pop up headlamp and the fogs. they are useless on unlit roads.
