Front tow hooks

Yo mofos, this may seem like a stupid question but on which side should I fit my tow hook?

It's a round thing that sticks out the oil coolers on a 99 spec bumper (painted stealth balck). I had a look at @SiH's thread and it's the same one he has. And it's on the drivers side. But a lot of Google images suggest passenger side, unless of course these are LHD cars

I have tow hooks on both sides of my fd! Mines a 92! Personally I'd shove it on the driver side if it sticks out! That way when you're on tow you're being pulled into the pavement opposed to out into the traffic if there's a bar from the centre of a van

You can get one that bolts onto your strut top in emergencys at track etc. that way yerr bumper is safe etc

Already got one mate, it sticks out so no damage to bumper. I've brought it to work today to make a little spacer for it, which would be different depending on which side it mounts. It's basically the same as the one Si has

Have you not got both already that bolt to the chassis legs? Mine's a 92 the same as Spendy's

Well yeah but if you tow on them it will fuck the bumper. Got a sticky out one to fit

Take the bumper off reccy van would love the waiting time on that! Especially if them twatty studs seize and spin like mine did! Smashed mine of with a fecking huge screwdriver and hammer when my bumper came off! Bastard thing!
