Will a change of throttle body require a remap?

Hi all,

Im slowly de-tuning my car as im getting old, boring and lame as fuck......... Starting to favour drive-ability than driving round like psychopath with flames everywhere

Currently car mapped by Jaydee and has a RW 90mm large single throttle body. Iv'e got a stock body here I'm thinking of boring out the stock upper butterflys so it flows the same amount of air as the 90mm.
But will the fact it only has one small butterfly opening until 50% throttle then all 3 butterflys open up after through the map out??? I just can't get my head round if this will balls it up or not, my gut is it wont matter but i'm thinking the fuel tip in is going to be different with less air at the same TPS percentage......

Any thoughts people:unsure::D

Fair shout, any idea when the stock body won’t flow enough air? My only thoughts on boring it would be to match the air flow as the 90mm.

In your opinion Nas how essential is the remap? Will it just run too rich now or completely undrivable, unsafe??

There's many many people running 500hp on the stock throttle body. Including myself.

Like you said just take it to the remap place and just make sure everything is ok? If it is.. probably won't cost you more then an hour of labour for peace of mind.

I think you'll be ok enough to drive there but I'd avoid hitting boost.
