Which black box solenoids are the same?

My blackbox has a failed charge control solenoid but I have a spare black box which also has a failed charge control solenoid.

My question is which solenoids operate the same as the cc solenoid?

If you can locate the manufacturers part number on the solenoid, you may be lucky and locate one or another application for it (without fd tax)

From memory there are 2 different types of solenoid in the black box, they have the part number printed on them so you can see.

Before you just swap one over though gey a 9v battery and a mityvac and test that they hold vacuum when they are both hot and cold, use the oven on a low heat to heat them through.

When I looked at each solenoid I noticed a set of 3 with one code and a set of 4 with another code

They all appeared to test the same but I used one with the same code to replace my failed CC solenoid.

Car now works great (for now)
