Stalling after track day

After a recent track day the car cut out a few time when coming to a stop, then while sitting in very heavy traffic on the M25 the revs would bounce
down to nothing and then return to normal idle speed when stopping.

I have been out for a pretty long and hard run this morning and she is running absolutely fine again, so I take it something did not like getting hot on the track day.
I had new plugs and leads on in feb during a service, looking for advice on what could be breaking down when very hot, I have been told it could be Coils.

Anything else come to mind as I am useless at all things mechanical and at the mercy of mechanics so would like an idea before I have to take it in somewhere.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Its quite easy to check coils and leads if you have a multimeter, and id not they are cheap and worth having one.
I would start there.
