Radiator fan harness to connect Spal Fans

I would like to ask if anyone have run aftermarket Spal fans on their radiators and have wired them successfully to the 4 pin stock loom? I need to run an extension harness for a V mounted radiator, though the wiring from the Spal fans are connected to a 2 way (T) terminal block as it only has a ground and a 12v blue wire making it difficult to think of a way to make a harness that works to connect the fans and the loom.

Using the stock fans and shroud would give me the option to get a plug and play extension harness, though I would have to do additional mods to the radiator to bolt it on...

Would be grateful to find feedback from someone who has managed to run Spal fans!

As shit as it sounds jeff, could you just disconnect the stock loom and maybe splice into the stock temp sensor? Not sure if them spam fans have a hi/lo trigger off the temp reading built in but although it's a bit yee Haa I'd most likely go down that route as you only have to splice into the temp sensor wire opposed to tapping into that godforsaken university challenge!

I've been planning how to do this and totally over complicated a system by using a PWM fan controller. Although I'm now looking to scrap that idea before being implemented and just use a solid state relay controlled by PWM output from the Adaptronic which monitors temps anyway.

Can then rip out the four relay circuit on drivers strut and strip out all wires from horseshoe loom.

I believe my Spal fans supplied on my radiator (Radtec) is a single speed (I didn't factor in that FDUK archives had a few threads linked to this setup), so I do take on board that the most appropriate trigger sensor to connect the fan towards is the temp sensor (which means switch on when FD thermoswitch reads 106 Celcius). Or another option would be to wire it to the ECU trigger loom and send the car to a datalogit and program the Apexi PFC to switch the fans on at whatever water temp is most appropriate (Any figure between 85-96 Celcius?) Either way, the loom needs to be extended and adapted at the same time so the wire reaches down under to the fans that is now arranged in V mount. Had I got an ali radiator with stock fan mounts and additional mount brackets to make it a V, then I would only need an extension harness which I can get plug and play but Radtec kit shindigs so...
