Just after a bit of feedback from owners, when getting your cars aligned was it ever remarked on the fact there was a little bit of play in the rack? Is it normal or definitely not?
I only ask as I had this earlier this year and with winter coming I am tempted to get a second hand rack and send it off to be refurbed before getting it swapped out next year. Which I have done on one of my other cars.
Or has replacing the steering rack bushes gone some way to curing anything like this.
