Painting oem side skirts

Hi all. I wanted to know if anyone has ever painted a set of OEM side skirts. We all know the rubber style ones. Just need to know if there is a recommended paint type or primer to allow for the squishy nature of them. I dont need any advice on going aftermarket instead etc.

I'm sure you can buy additives to go in the paint or lacquer that make it more flexible and a plastic primer would probably work as they're like a rubber/polyurethane material. Best ask your local auto paint supplier as they'll give you the best options for what you need.

I thought about doing this myself as I have a set of oem side skirts but the paint would need to come off completely back to the rubber, and this in itself would be a task as you don't want the damage the surface so needless to say I haven't attempted it yet.
