Mx-5 steering wheel

I’m looking at replacing my tatty nardi wheel and seem to remember that one from an mx-5 can work with very little modification.
I just can’t seem to find the post I’m thinking of.

Am I right in thinking it’s the steering wheel from a 98-05 mx-5 that’s correct?

Anyone have a link to the thread I’m thinking of?
Or better yet, anyone have a very good condition nardi wheel available?

I believe I have an MX5 wheel- it looks like it needed a couple of small holes drilled in the back of the boss to line up with the horn mechanism. aside from that it is a straight fit.

I fitted one to mine, took about 5 minutes to drill the holes then went straight on, paid £30 for it off eBay
