Also I'm hoping that on Sunday project facelift monty will start rolling!! It's taken me a fortnight of nagging and driving a certain fdoc non member (also trying to break him so he signs up but he's such a stubborn old man that's set in his ways ? I know you'll read this ?) completely insane to let me have it!!! So hopefully next year Mr monty will look like this.......

Got this set up today ? fair play for 30 quid it's a bargain! The bead breaker is a little flimsy as it bent towards the end and needed straightening out and also the tube that comes with it to pull the tyre from the rim is a bit gung ho! The rims were already a bit scratched up but it didn't exactly destroy them! If I was taking tyres from painted rims then I think I'd buy tyre levers and rim protectors! Fair play though, overall it was simple!

Took monty up for mot this morning! Was told for the first time ever that he won't pass emissions ? needless to say he passed ? the guys I take it too are pretty cool! He followed up with, don't worry though I have passes it ? had a fiver cash on me so sent that on to him to have a brekkie, he was chuffed with that!
Other than that the only things I really needed sorting was the headlight bulb wasn't sitting too clever in the holder and wiper blade! Passed him though ? that's that for 2 years now ?

Yeah gave him a good wash first then done about 40 miles! Needed to test temps as I done a coolant and oil change a fortnight ago and not got out! I used the lisle funnel for the first time! Fair play it was bloody great! Just filled it and ran him to a 100 in the shed! No problems at all! Gutted I have to give it back to my mate now ?

One of the things putting me off it when t was for sale was that it would sit too low at the front compared to the standard bumper. Seeing it fitted in your pic it looks great tho ??
Makes me even more upset that I didn’t go for it.
Love the angle on the sidelights. I think it’s good you’re putting the reflectors back in too and going for a standard look
