How to clean and test fuel injectors?

Any recommendations on products to use and how to test the injectors performance? I don't have any issues with the injectors themselves, it just seemed a reasonable job to do while the parts are off the car.

Has to be done professionally as far as I'm aware.

You can get an injector test kit from snapon etc, but there made for use on the car, more for highlighting a stuck or broken injector. They won't really show you flow rate and pattern accurately etc like a propper test bench.

There's a few companies that you can post them too. I've just had mine done by injector tune. They test, clean and retest them. You get a printout to show the difference. Cost me £57 altogether and would recommend them.

Would you do it, even if there's no apparent issues with them? I've been warned not to as they are delicate, but thought that maybe they aren't 100% (after 54k miles) and so I could see an improvement. I've only driven 1 rx7, mine, so I have no point of reference for how a fully sorted Rex should be.

I never touched mine. They work just fine and as long as you use good fuel like VPower or Tesco Momentum there isn't a reason they should suddenly clog.

My injectors have 88,000 legitimate miles on them and I push them to as high as 96% duty.

i pulled mine as it floods constantly, bought the 500 quid AEM smartcoils and didnt really sort the problem. I have PFC and i know i need to get it mapped but the amount of fuel it chucks in startup is stupid.

Got mine tested at Abbey Motorsport in Oxted. The guy was cool and let me watch him do it. £20 each if I remember correctly.
