Head unit and speaker reccomendations

Hi all,

I have a 92 RX7 FD that i have currently stripped the whole interior out of, and figured while it was out that I would also upgrade a few things so planning on putting some sound deadening through out, probably something like dodo mat deadn pro.

Also wanting to upgrade the speakers etc on it and wanted to know if anyone has some reccomendations on the head unit, front and rear speakers, amp and subwoofer, the whole lot really. I have read a few older posts which have some great suggestions but like everything they move on so quick that alot of the reccomendations have now been replaced with newer models.

ANy help on this and or the sound deadening would be greatly appreciated,

I wouldn’t waste big money on speakers ect in an rx7.
Its just too small a cabin for it to work.
Plus its hard to hear the radio over all the rattles and squeaks.

I doubt you'd tell the difference between £50 speakers and £500.

Spend some money on sound deadening the car. This will do more to SQ than top end speakers.

I like focal coaxial speakers.
A half decent underfloor passive sub and a 4 channel amp to your budget.
