Feed rear arch and cutting

Hi I'm going to be ordering and fitting some feed rear arches I've got a general idea of where to cut the standard arch etc what have you done to seal the wheel well back up did you weld it I know you have to do something similar to the pics below

Given the feeds are not a huge gain in width I’d be looking to pull the stock arch out 20mm rather than cut them up.

I should be able to fit the wheel I want already I've got 25mm I could push mu current setup outwards it was just for the look of the car mainly

I mean add the feed arch, but rather than cut underneath, just pull it out to meet the feed rear

Same way I've seen it done, Just roll and pull the arches heavily to meet the overfender
