I need to make up some brake lines. If it's anchored appropriately, is there any reason why I can't use braided flexy directly from the BMC to the bias and then from the bias to the callipers?

:)

You could, but why would you? Hard lines will be cheaper, expand less, less likely to wear and are easy to inspect for faults (y).

It was just an idea. Each line costs only costs £25, so not crazy money. I thought it would look quite neat too.

Could look really nice if you had them done in a colour, i suppose you can run hardlines under the car and use braided stuff under the bonnet and to the calipers

Yes. I should have really said it was just for the engine bay. I'd use the standard hardlines under the car.

Braided lines are a decent idea but i cant imagine much if any pros to it. plus if shit hits the fan and one of your rear calipers break a seal. with hardlines you can crimp and bend them so you still have front brakes to get home... (yip done this before and nope. dont recommend it and yip very dangerous) haha
