Black and red stock strut brace

My 99 RS has a black Stock strut brace, thought this may have just been painted but seen others with one like James (https://fdoc.co.uk/forum/threads/fd-type-rs.3681/) just It doesn’t have the Rx7 badge so I’m doubtful any gurus know?

Later cars had a black brace with no badge. Can’t remember off the top of my head what the crossover year was (was either 96 or 99)

I think it’s 96. Additionally I think the Spirit R had a red brace with badge
