Bad earthing potentially?

Hi all just after a bit of advice, seem to be having what i think is potentially a bad earth somewhere in the car, slow starting, fairly dim lights, and fairly slow windows when operating both at same, and although probably a separate issue which i think is fairly common an erratic rev counter which i need ti look at, but does all this seem to be a bad earthing somewhere on the car or somewhere else?

I definitely think it'll be somewhere on the car. Not sure house electrics will impact it!!

On a serious note, is the car stock, had any work done recently etc?

Could just be that something hasn't been reconnected properly if it's had something done and a bit of corrosion could cause earthing issues. If I remember correctly the main body ground is on the shock tower and therefore can get corroded due to dirt and water getting to it.

yeah thanks for the reply mate, i had a look last night the main body wasnt too bad i cleaned up anyways, but found one from the body to the engine underneath looked crusty cleaned it up seems to be good so far

If the body one does not solve the issues, another problem one can be found under the UIM, although a fair amount of hassle to access. Also worth checking the braided strap from engine to firewall and the bundle of grounds at the front under the bumper reinforcement.
