Hi all, I’m looking to sell my FD, just wondering if anyone has any idea of potential value.
The car has been in my custody for 15-ish years, I have hardly used it in the last few years but have kept it running, serviced and MOT’d for occasional shows. It deserves to be used more, but my arthritis makes it challenging to drive nowadays. Would make an ideal project car since it looks good and is still running well.
1997 Mazda RX-7 FD3S - RB Bathurst edition.

Compression test results on engine – front: 5.27 5.20 5.27 - rear: 5.62 5.62 5.27
Low compression, but starts first time hot and cold, no problems with running, no overheating. Still drives superbly and feels strong, but compression test suggests it will probably soon require the inevitable!
Black paintwork with Red interior, leather front seats.
Bodywork good condition, but not perfect! No rust on body, clean underneath.
Interior good, but again, not perfect.
Aftermarket bits –
K&N air filter.
Aluminium intake pipes.
ARC intercooler with Greddy polished elbow.
RE-Amemiya air separation tank.
Silicone vacuum pipes.
Stainless steel exhaust AVS series 7 alloy wheels.
Twin headlight conversion.
Carbon fibre bonnet.
HKS coilovers.
Front and rear strut braces.
HKS turbo timer and fan controller.
Apexi power FC with commander.
MOMO steering wheel.
And probably some others…
