I've started a new thread to try and make it clearer/easier to manage.
Hello all, I met with the good people of Bicester Heritage last wkend and had a look around the hangar. It would be epic as a location. The pic below I took about half way down, they will open both hangar doors on the left on the day, which should look fantastic.
It's £2200 for the day, the only addition being liability insurance.
There are 45 people on FB 100% locked in. If you are not in that group and 100% keen could you comment below please, it would be good to get a better idea of numbers. We need to confirm by the end of Feb if we're in or not. Pre christmas count would put it at about £38/head.
All 7s welcome, FB,FC and FDs.
23rd july is the only date they can offer.

Hi Charlie, I’ve left Facebook but I am 100% in.

let me know if you need payment up front for my place and I’ll send it over.

What’s the latest on this mate ?
I think I'm going to have to take a punt and initially have to cover the entire cost myself, then ask those keen to pay me. There's about 50 on FB keen, plus extras on here with out approaching the larger community. If everyone is happy to chip in 40quid per head, I'm hoping that sounds cover the costs. If we can get 60 car together it's happy days. It'll just have to be tickets sold before the day and no refund if you can't make it, or I'm potentially hugely out of pocket.

Good news update!! I'm going to take a plunge and book "The hangar" they are firing over the contract next week. So all things being equal, I'll start asking for cash monies next week as well. Looking at £48/car that should then cover costs. Any left over I'll either split and refund or if everyones happy it can go toward a videogragher. I genuinely think we're on for the largest rotary meet in the UK.
Sorry it's taking to long, lots on this end combined with a first time hiring somewhere like this. Still aiming for the 23rd of July.
It should be a belter lads and ladies. Get your youtube & Instagram account prepped!
(I'd bang in a load of relevant emojis at this point but those who've met me know I'm far to old for that sort of shit!). 🍆

Hadn't noticed there was a new thread but had commented back on the November post. Not sure if too late, but still keen to sign up if available spaces :)

In the words of that fella from the UFC...ITS TIIIIIIIIIME. Deposit down, Hangar 113 is ours on 23rd of July for the biggest rotary meet in UK history. The admin. I've opened a new account to make it transparent. It'll be a total of £2600(inc VAT and insurance). I think we've got about 60 cars keen so far which will be £44/car. Please pay to Charlie Walford Acc: 30-99-98 Sort: 71101160 Lloyds bank With you name as ref. If we get way more coming I'll refund the difference to everyone or perhaps we can put it toward a videogragher. Lads and ladies, this is going to be something quite special. When paid up, post what your bringing below. *this event is invite only on this group or fdoc forum. Not open to the public and only rx7s(and mine!). Others will be turned away at the gate. No payment prior no entry on the day.

Evening all, just a quick update. Now up to some 30 cars, some wicked kit from across the years.
If all goes to plan I'm meeting with The Kyza and his friend Charlie B, who's the offical bicester heritage photographer, on Sunday which should be interesting. And today Mazda UK were showing interest in bringing some kit down as well.
So building interest.
If it keeps building like this it'll be a pretty special meet.
A certainly the last one I'm going to do.
....until I build my Touge Maou!

Another update. I'm pleased to say we're almost at 40 cars now signed up, so building to that magic 60 which I'm hoping for.
I've had a few ask about coming just to attend, but not in a 7, either previous owners or those who can't get their car on the road in time.
I think next week I'll open it up to those guys as well, to help with the cost of hangar hire. Fear not the hangar will be exclusively 7 parking.
I can smell the pre-mix from here!
