Spoiler and side skirts at the paint shop to get the car looking more presentable this year, will have a full respray once ive finished the engine and mapping.
also gave it a bit of a wash, i do prefer it with the spoiler on so cant wait to get that back now.
Needs wheels desperatly so any recomendations then fire away.
Gorgeous fd mate, enjoyed reading your story with her. I remember I sold my very first fd to buy the 350z even it came out.....quickly regretted it and that’s when I knew I’d never drive anything else. Keep up the good work on her, she’s a lovely example.
Wheels test fitted , had to remove them though as my wheel nuts were too big to fit and tighten up , so ive ordered some new wheel nuts and some spigot rings, fitment is pretty good, arches will need a roll and il raise the rear until the tyres are worn so i can run a slightly skinnier tyre.
Forgot ti update this , wheels fitted , arches rolled, spoiler and side skirts fitted, also fitted a rear windscreen joiner as that was missing. Cars now at rx motors having a service and check over and fit my feed downpipe.
Just a couple more things todo next week then itl be readyish for jdm coomb ?
Decided to take the car to a meet in bath, heres a pic of my rx7 and my cousin's r34 gtt. Was a good meet but as you can see from the pic i dropped a bit of coolant.
So now the cars booked in February to have a street port and full rebuild to put my mind at rest and also to stop chasing these little issues .
Hopefully this year i can make it to more meets and shows without worrying how much coolant i have left
Great car, just skimmed the thread from the start, fairplay working in the street and it looked wet Slightest mist the other day and I didn’t bother and always blame not having a garage!
Love a black fd, are you still planning a respray? Hope it’s staying black.
Also, how is your front plate mounted st that angle? Is there a bracket bolted to the bumper?
