A nice early start yesterday to drive to Cambridge to collect the bits from Thermomet.

I came home all excited to fit but I ran in to a small oversight on my part. The change in lower inlet manifold for the semi PP set up means the downpipe is too close to one of the runners as it’s much thicker with the two extra runners. I think an exhaust manifold spacer will give me the 10mm or so I need, will hopefully have that Tuesday to try. Going to look good though.

Temporarily fitted the front bumper today, (had a little helper too) needs a slightly better alignment but that can wait until after wiring is complete.

Good news - manifold, down pipe and turbo all fit. Just !! By literally millimetres however the knock on effect is the wastegate flange may need changing to allow more room but I’ll get to that after the wiring has been completed.

I’m going to have the lower and upper inlet cerakoted and get rid of the blue hoses for black. It’s coming along nicely now, getting excited.

3/4 week wait now.

Sakebomb tank arrived today for WMI.

Dash 4 Pro ordered

The D4 Dash and keypad arrived today. The dash is much smaller than I thought, very neat.

Not much to report, still getting the wiring sorted.

I had the dash surround made out of aluminium - will get it coated a textured black to match interior.

The loom assembly has started with the coils.

Toggles for ECU/MAP settings plus dash control to go in place of stereo double din.

Main engine harness is next.
