Rotary Track Day with Magnitude Events - 5th July 2019

Someone I know from RX8 world, who's not on RX8OC, Mike, said he was coming but mustn't have booked yet.

@Nas80 , @tomCTR , @rob fd and @AndyD1969 should all book this.

Unfortunately I won’t be able to make this as the car is still not running right (hesitating on first turbo and needs a new MAP) and got quite a few jobs to do on it this year

Dude, I'm going to book Beckett Arms pub which is quite close and not far from the BP station. I'm going to ask Stu and Jay if they want a room there as well to motivate them to buy a ticket.

Want to book there as well so I have some company while all of the RX-8 guys hang out at the Black Horse Inn and talk about their 170hp cars?

People worried about noise should stop worrying. @jdmr_neil was there this past weekend and has 103 static and didn't trip the noise meter. Last year we had a Lotus Exige Cup 430 which has a static exhaust of 111 and that also didn't trip the noise meter. I wouldn't worry about it and would just come along. Blyton is known to not really care about noise since there is literally nothing around them anyway.

This really is a great circuit for anyone unsure about trackdays and their car. You really can't crash into anything and it's just so flat you can literally see the whole circuit. Being a private trackday you can go as slow or as fast as your comfortable with. Also with circuit tuition thrown in too this is really a one off chance. I'm ruined I'm at work ore would 100% be attending.

The only way you can really trip the noise meter is by ripping it up when the light goes green and spinning it out of the paddock. I usually blow 103 -105 static at croft and that's quite enclosed, blyton is wide open.

It will be an awesome day no doubt.

Matt and myself have been abusing the free cancellation and booking hotel rooms for fun. We've now moved across to the Beckett, so that all of us FD:OC members are in one place. There's still 2 twin and 2 double rooms available for others who want to book.
