Protruding Headunit

the support bar that is behind the head unit can it be removed / altered so my head unit no longer protrudes by 1/2" ?

Seems odd how it shouldn't fit straight in? I've had two different ones in mine and never had any issues

I had this issue but it turned out to be the connector jamming between the brace and the head unit. Also the Arial plug fouls sometimes

Yes either a connector or sometimes a screwy pointy thing attached to the rear of the head unit. Disconnect everything and tuck it down so it's all empty and then retry your head unit in there!

umm i had a Auto electrician do it , though im starting to doubt there ability after i managed to rig up the snap off boss kit with horn and they couldnt.

I put one in mine last year, think I had same issue so pushed the wires out the way so it would sit properly

Pop the passenger knee rest panel off in the footwell, should be able to move the wires out the way from there as you insert the head unit.
