(LynneE, a member on here with a UK late spec FD has asked me to create this event on her behalf)
Following on from the success of 2024 (and previous years), there will again be a stand featuring an FD and a wide range of other rotary engined cars, at this year’s Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show at the NEC: the UK’s largest indoor show and the grand finale to the classic car season.
The stand "block" will contain cars supplied by Ro80 Club International members (their first time at the show), the Mazda Rotary Club (MRC) and the RX-8 Owner’s Club UK – resulting in a great timeline display of rotary powered cars, featuring models from 1967 to 2012. The MRC stand will also feature “old to new”: Piers Lambert’s early super-rare Mazda R100, Dave Collins’ freshly refurbished RX-7 FB and my (LynneE's) late UK spec RX-7 FD.
The three “Rotary” stands have a great position in the centrally positioned Hall 3A (the Dealer Hall), adjacent to the large Lancaster Pride of Ownership stand – so we can expect a lot of passing “foot traffic”!
