Agree, any rotary or any swapped RX7’s is the spirit of the day.All rotaries plus RX7s with swaps too.
Look at any 7s day in Japan, always other cars there with Rotaries, it's a celebration of rotary engines not just the rx7Was it just me, or are there other 7 owners not too happy with RX8's and other rotaries joining?
It is 7's day.

It is 7's day.
And i only asked a question. There will be a selection of rotary powered vehicles there, not just rx7s because there is no need to gate keep small communities when we all have a collective interest.
If it really bothers you that other vehicles are attending (and paying for the right to do so) then I’d recommend not attending.
Yeah we need 100+ to cover venue only.I think at £40 per head we need as many people as possible.
Now you’re just being disingenuous, being open to other cars known for being rotary is not the same as just letting any Jap car in and you know it. No point getting hung up on the name, it literally doesn’t matterOk, so a day for rotary cars.
But why is there even discussion about non-rotary cars attending?
May as well just be another Jap car meet.
Or are non Jap cars going to be suggested aswell?
Is no one else a 7's day purist?![]()
Think that’s likely? No idea if the rx8 scene is bigger but 100 cars seems a tall order?Yeah we need 100+ to cover venue only.
We had 70+ RX7s the last time at Bicester I think?Think that’s likely? No idea if the rx8 scene is bigger but 100 cars seems a tall order?
No. I’d rather pay less and see a wider variety of rotary cars while still getting to see and hang out with a lot of other RX7 owners. Don’t worry about it man, the RX8s can’t hurt you.Wouldn't peple rather pay £70 say, so there's no need for 100 cars attending.
72 rx7's that other year was a tall order as it was!
