Thought I'd share with you a fix I was rather chuffed with!
The plugs that the strings of the Parcel Shelf on our FD3 were broken and wouldn't hold in
Unable to find replacements I decided to innovate... Lol
Prototype 1 was based on using a Diet Pepsi Can... Idea was right but not enough strength
Prototype 2 moved to an old Chinese Takeaway Container, a self taping screw and some red insulation tape for spring
Hey Pesto... Final production... Final fitting adjustment gentle undertaken with a lightweight "taping stick"... You'd never know it wasn't original production lol
Sometimes it's the simple things in life that give you pleasure... Hope it helps... See pictures below....
