which fuel filter are you running

I am putting a LS3 in and i know Craig at dyno torque uses a bmw x5 fuel filter but i have also been told the USA guys run a corvette WIX fuel filter anyone got any ideas?

I use a sytec bullett filter with a high flow metal filter element and im at 530hp

Where did you get yours, does it have a presure regulator with it ?

I've used the corvette WIX filter that also has the fuel pressure regulator built in, its fits into the standard RX7 filter bracket. I was going to install an aeromotive FRP and filter that I have but I found that the WIX filter was a simpler and neater solution. I think the part number might be 33737, but its worth double checking it.

That’s sound advice and sounds a very neat install.

One question I looked up the wix33737 and it says it’s for a 5.7 litre will it still be ok for a ls3 6.2 litre?

I think it would be but couldn't say for certain, might be worth asking on norotors.com or even ls1tech

I’m planning to use the mk5 golf r32 filter
Looks very similar to the corvette one except it’s £15 and available on the shelf

I have a wix filter now. Let me know how you get in with the golf filter as it could be a good option in the future
