Sacrilegious's V8 Feed Project

OK guy's time for a little update,

A few of you will know from my constant posting on the (None gay) whatsapp group, that there has been a bit of movement, so they engine has been fitted by dynotorque, the engine actually fits quite nicely but the bonnet doesn't quite clear.

It looks like the vents need to be taken back slightly and maybe raised an inch, so the car is now with TJR bodyworx in Birmingham, who will be altering the bonnet to accommodate the supercharger. They are under strict instruction for the modifications to be reversible should I not like it, or should I decide on changing the PD supercharger for something else. Ironically looking at this im pretty sure a scoot bonnet would fit (if someone wanted to go down the same path) Will post some more pictures when i get them.

Cheers Neil

Relatively speaking the rx7 engine bay is pretty big, can house a 2jz and the ls/Lt are quite compact, mine has a supercharger which makes it bigger.

You will need to chat to an admin in the tribe group...

Not sure who it is TBH

I hear good things about the diffs! What powerzz they good for buddy?

Craig isnt sure has hes never known one break, but heres the low down:

E92 Casing
4 Plate carbon
Rebuilt by Transbox, bearings etc
3.15 ratio

(im going to give the above dude a call, as it was a cash deal, for more details, )

So Dynotorque is going to be making a rear end kit using this solution so this will be the template for the production kit. So got a deal on it . And this should be better than the ford explorer kit i was going to use from the states.

So much engine! Looks sick and going to sound insane o_O

Will sound the same as my last one, hopefully quieter as i want to track the fdoc out of it,

So this leaves the following to get running:
Samberg Radiator - In progress
Get bonnet to fit - In progress
Speartech Harness
Driveshafts
Exhaust solution - Still not sure what I'm doing here
Supercharger heat exchangers
Heat Shielding
Final engine fit
HP tuners / ECU Reprogram
Battery
- Start the bitch

Other Stuff:
Meth Kit
Tune
seats
Dash/gauges
1/2 cage
alarm

Right well over due an update:

So I have been working out the gear ratios etc and think I will be happy with the 3.15

So a few more parts have arrived:

  • Griptech pulley 2.3 (9%) should add a few more PSI of boost but the main reason was an extra bit of clearance as this is the closest to the bonnet
  • Varley Lithium Li-16 battery and Ctek lithium charger,. Nice lightweight battery and should have plenty of of juice to start the car (never again running something that could leave me stranded)
  • Speartech Wiring harness and Zl1 shifter (should have got a picture its a lovely harness), will get one on engine.
  • Speed inc Stainless headers
    • 1581067742428.png

So the car is currently back at Dynotorque having the engine dropped for the engine bay to be resprayed and bonnet adjusted to give a bit more clearance at TJR, when it returns back to Dynotorque Craig will get the nimbus heat shield installed and refit engine.

As it stands at the minute:
