Hi all

Trying to sort out some boost issues on my new FD, previous owner had rats nest simplification carried out by Essex rotary, noticed the oem one way valves still in place so got some of the Viton replacements, but upon looking at This diagram I’m a tad confused, some of the lines go to different ports, and some of the original lines are still in place.

Could this be causing the issue? For reference one of the most obvious lines is the line going to the pressure chamber is currently being fed by the Y pipe, where as in the diagram it’s being fed by the LIM.

Tempted to remove everything and start from scratch, if so the only line that doesn’t make sense is the dark yellow vac line from the Y pipe goes off to the right of the diagram and doesn’t reappear?

Any help greatly appreciated

Vac line in question ^ in diagram linked routing is different

I'd suggest using this diagram

Then work out what has been removed previously from that. There are lots of flavours of a simplified vacuum system.

Having the pressure tank hooked up to the y pipe like on your car is correct.
