Hello Gents,
After searching for a fibreglass boot for a long time i decided to take the plunge and buy the materials myself. A friend of mine creates carbon fibre pannels for race cars made a mold of my boot. The seal and window is also fibreglass.
These pictures are gel coat only not painted. The window part is so smooth it looks exactly like a tinted window in person.
Layerd with kevlar honeycomb matting on the inside as a test on mine. the duel gelcoat was hard to merge so next ill just make them one solid colour of your choice
Ill do some high speed pulls to make sure they dont implode first before i sell them.
11KG as is so light weight.
Will do carbon some day when i learn vac bagging and weight will drop further.
