Hi gents!

Matt from
Garage Alpha here checking in on the recommendation of a few customers that reached out on Facebook! 👋

As an owner - I've had a handful of FC3Ss and FD3Ss dating back to 1997.
As an enthusiast - I've been importing and developing parts since the 2000s.
As a business owner - we've been at this for a little over two years now and so far so good!

The premise of the company came from two difference needs.

One, there were always really good parts that came and went and became hard to find since the original innovators left the scene or just didn't want the hassle of manufacturing the parts anymore. This left owners scrambling to find a used version in the second hand market - or simply buy an inferior version.

Two, there were always parts we wanted for our cars that either didn't exist or were simply not obtainable. So we decided to take our experience in manufacturing and leverage our strategic placement in Detroit to create parts for the community. As an aside, I know the idea of 'Detroit' is probably a bit worn down in your mind, and yes, we've taken a hit since the 1950s. But what's left over is a great network of mom 'n pop CNC operators, metal formers, powdercoaters, upholsterers and all around innovators able and willing to do short runs of parts for our cars.

Here is our website: https://garagealpha.com

So what do we make? Lots of stuff!

FLOOR MATS!
We offer three levels of fabric, custom colored borders and really cool CNC cut RX-7 badges pulled from the JDM floor mats. Available in LHD, RHD and 'Shorty' versions of each to work with JDM Spirit-R / RZ foot rests.

OEM MATCHED ACCELERATOR AND DEAD PEDALS!
We always loved the OEM drilled brake and clutch - but always hated the mismatch with the accelerator and dead pedal. This was a project originally pioneered by Levy Rotor Corp - but abandoned due to the work load to make them. We reached out to them and came to an agreement to put these BACK into production with a higher quality end result! Again, available as LHD or RHD Dead Pedals and Normal or Wide versions of the accelerator (accelerators work on RHD or LHD).

FAN RELAY COVERS AND JDM ALTERNATOR CAPS
We are especially concerned with the overall appearance of the engine bay and heat (and time) does a number on rubber bits. So we set out to manufacture specific components that were difficult to find and prone to damage.

JDM REPLICA GOODS
We have a bit of an obsession with JDM Optional Goods and Spirit-R parts. We replicated the Spirit-R Keys, JDM Hand Steps, Mazdaspeed Titanium Parking Brake / Shift Knob, Spirit-R / RZ Foot Rests and recently Spirit-R / RZ Tile Base Brackets.

TITANIUM GOODS
We have a problem. It's more of an obsession. It's called titanium. Bonnet Rods, Tow Hooks, Strut Bars, Strut Tower Nuts, Keys, the aforementioned Parking Brake and Shift Knob. Its culminated with a FULL cat-back that weighs in at under 7kg. Don't worry. We're seeking help.

CARBON FIBER GOODS
The obsession continues. This time with Door Sills, 99Spec License Plates, Reconditioned Steering Wheels, Windshield Cowls and a soon to be released Engine Cover!

There's a LOT more on our site - but this post was getting way too long.

Please feel free to visit!

Recently bought the titanium parking brake and shift knob, and a wide gas pedal (already had the dead pedal and normal gas pedal from Levy).
Will get some pics up when they're all installed (y)

Great products and I'll definitely be back for more :D

Ordered a titanium key, thanks for the reminder! I think I was in the original group buy but really rarely login to rx7club so probably missed it!

Where do you plan on getting that cut? I want to order one myself, but not found anywhere that says they can definitely cut a titanium key :cautious:

I'll just pop down my local key cutters and tell them to cut it slowly and let the key cool after each cut. Any manual cutter should do.

Ordered a Ti bonnet prop too.... I wish they did the kick plates in kevlar weave to match the recaros...If they did I'd take a set for sure.

Didn't realise they took over production of the Levy corp pedals. I had the first RHD prototypes 3 years ago and I love it.

Great products guys (y).

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome and positive feedback! 🙏

We're always looking for ways to communicate with the larger RX-7 communities and its a relief to see the forums over here are alive and well! So much has moved to IG / FB - which is nice. But you tend to lose nuance and meaningful discussion that the forums always had.

I do see a few orders have come in. I will get those processed and shipped ASAP. 👍

One thought another member suggested is the idea of Group Buys. OF COURSE I am open to them and they don't necessarily have to be one product. If we can box a number of items together and ship them to a central location in the UK and dispatch from there - I am all for it. My challenge is not being on the ground over there - I don't know if I'm the best to organize it. However, if someone wants to grab the torch - I will be more than happy to make it happen.

I'll throw out that I do have a friend with a performance shop in Warwickshire. I'm not sure if that's close, far, central or out in the boonies. But it could be a point of distribution if that helps any. 🤷‍♂️

I DO HAVE THOSE!

A customer just had me special make a set and since we had to buy a roll of Kevlar - we made a few extras!

We also made a couple 99Spec License Plates to match.

As for cutting keys - we have a good guide on the website. It takes a REAL locksmith - not a automated digital replicator that are popping. up in the big box stores here in the states. We haven't had a complaint yet. 👍

Brought a few things from GA in the past and no faults at all. Great customer service, fast shipping and some free gifts included haha.

I would be down for a group buy, got a few more things to buy!
