Dash vent pod

Finally got around to spraying my dash vent pod bought from a member on here, think it will look
Pretty neat when fitted.

I have one and its great, but I regret fitting gauges that have silver bezels 'cos they reflect in the windscreen and are annoying. Should have got gauges with black bezels

I used Halfords grey primer and Kobra black as I had these already.

My bezels are silver if they reflect in the windscreen I will look at spraying them black as well.

@welshkid the vent is a pain to get out correctly so I took the neanderthal approach and broke it out.

You have to remove the dash to get the vent pod out correctly. The amount these cost you'd be crazy to smash it out you could sell it for 100 pounds + one and half reach arounds

I have a spare on that I picked up some time ago, also removing the dash and me would end in tears.

If I had known about the reach around I may have taken the dash out.

Do you need to take the dash out? I never did.. just pushes it in a touch and it popped out? The centre dash vent is more difficult but this front one I never had issues with
