7s Day Japan 2018 – Daikoku PA

Hi All,

I was lucky enough to be in Japan for 10 days with work and so had a weekend free which happened to be the weekend including 7th July. This was complete fluke due to a delay in my trip. I was not going to miss out on this opportunity so grabbed a hire car and got down to Daikoku PA for around 4 hours on the Saturday.

Following the recent posts on Speedhunters I know realise why there were not too many of the really crazily modified cars and that maybe leaving earlier around 3PM that I missed even more cars – however I saw loads of cars roll through both rotary and non-rotary.

I also made a quick stop at the Nismo Omori factory on the way back to the hire car drop off.

However this post is to share some photos, I have loads but have just picked a few out quickly to share with all you guys. Hope you enjoy you this short gallery.

Fair play. You jammy mother fluffer. I don't think I'll be the only one to say this but I'm jealous as hell! Fair play for brining back a few pics and thinking of us Geoff

It’s scary just how many 7s you spot in japan on a daily anyway but I bet 7s day was another world,
We did auto salon and the car parks were full of nothing but 7s and skylines,
Oh and rauh welt Porsche’s due to the meet the day before

Not sure if I’m honest haha! Could only see the front through a glass wall!

It was like high twenties/low thirties but very humid! Not the most comfortable haha!

Yeah I saw a few on drives etc when travelling around but not many on the road. A few R35s and R34s and even an R32 GTR cruising around Tokyo! I was surprised how many are still around and used actually.

The one car I saw almost every turn were Subaru Legacy estates!! Everyone was driving them haha!!

Well it’d be rude not too! Plus had a look around Tokyo but it’ll be a while before I go back personally although the Mrs has come round now so that’s a plus.

I only seen 1 rx7 when I was in Tokyo, seriously jealous that you were over there for 7s day!
